Traps

Portal Traps are sprinkled throughout the Portal World and are a set of intelligent systems designed to thwart your progress in more subtle ways than the Portal Monsters...

Overview

Certain tiles within the Portal World hold an unwelcome surprise for unsuspecting victims who happen to step on them or walk within their activation radius. While we have simply labeled them as 'traps', the intelligence and degree of integration these systems have with the Portal World and coordination with the portal monsters its Monsters make it seem as though the whole world itself is alive and sentient!
